INTERMEDIA announces ‘3rd Safe Motherhood Award’ for newspapers and television reports |

Intermedia, a not for profit organization working for journalist’s capacity building and strengthening freedom of information, in collaboration with Pakistan Initiative for Mothers and Newborns (PAIMAN), a project funded by USAID, announces ‘ 3rd Safe Motherhood Award’ for journalists working in print and electronic media. |

Winners will be awarded with certificates of recognition, medals and cash prizes of PKR 50, 000, for first prize, while the runner up will be awarded silver medal and cash prize of PKR, 25,000.
Decisions to give awards will be based upon the following criteria:

A five-member committee consisting of One MNCH experts and four senior journalists would finalize awards. Candidates can send copies of their printed clippings and television reports produced during April 2009 to December 31, 2009, latest by January 15, 2010 at the following address. Date for the Award Ceremony will be announced shortly.
